Like our Popular Original Line Winder, this New Model is built of Solid Oak and made to last. It has an adjustable tension screw that allows the user to put just the right amount of wanted tension on the spool as you put line on or take it off a reel. Filler spools of Backing, Super Braids, Fly Lines and Monofilaments can be placed right on the winder and tensioned. Simply remove the Solid Wood Oak Spool and replace it with your new spool of line, tighten the spool wingnut and set the tension screw, located on top of spool mount, and you are ready to go. Works great and will serve double duty for those who own and use both types of equipment.
